TARTA TATÍN DE MANZANA

La Tarta Tatín de manzana tiene un comienzo peculiar, un error de dos  hermanas que regentaban un hotel, sin saber que crearían una de las tartas más famosas del mundo.

Empezaron caramelizando las manzanas y le pusieron la base por encima, la hornearon y le dieron la vuelta para servirla.

Es una tarta deliciosa que gusta a todo el mundo y te hace quedar más que bien donde la lleves.

Para preparar la Tarta Tatín de manzana necesitaremos:

INGREDIENTES

6-7 manzanas Reineta más o menos.

150 g de mantequilla.

200 g de azúcar.

1 base de masa de hojaldre casero o comprado.

1 cucharadita de canela (opcional)

PREPARACIÓN

Pelar las manzanas, cortarlas en cuatro gajos y retirarles el corazón.

Ponemos una sarten a fuego medio y añadimos la mantequilla y el azúcar. Dejamos que se derrita y que el azúcar vaya caramelizando.

Cuándo la mezcla empiece a burbujear, añadimos la manzana para que se cocine unos minutos y que absorba la salsa de mantequilla y se mezcle con el jugo que sueltan las manzanas, después en el horno se terminará de hacer. Añadimos la canela (la receta original no la lleva), pero a mí personalmente me encanta el aroma que aporta. Removemos.

Cuando veamos que están ya algo tiernas paramos el fuego.

En un molde o en la misma sarten, si es apta para el horno, repartimos la manzana con la parte exterior hacia abajo, más o menos ordenadas y sin que queden separadas para que no haya huecos.

Colocamos la masa de hojaldre (o de masa quebrada) sobre las manzanas y metemos un poco el borde para que recoja bien el relleno.

Metemos al horno  precalentado a 200º, con calor arriba y abajo, en la parte del medio y horneamos hasta que el hojaldre esté dorado.

La sacamos y la dejamos templar un poco.

Es el momento de darle la vuelta, le colocamos un plato sobre el hojaldre, y como la tortilla de patatas, con cuidado, se le da la vuelta.

Esta tarta está buenísima templada sola, o servida con una bola de helado de vainilla, es una auténtica delicia.
